Jensen Tire & Auto General Service Warranty
Unless specifically detailed in the subsequent warranty language, Jensen Tire & Auto ("Jensen") will correct any problems which may occur with services provided for a period of 90 days or 4,000 miles, whichever comes first, at no cost to the customer. Warranty repairs do NOT extend original warranty periods.

The warranty covers only the items from the original service provided and specifically does not cover any incidental costs which may occur. Tires and batteries are specifically excluded from this warranty section as they may be covered under separate manufacturer or Jensen Tire & Auto warranties.

Maintenance Brake Service
What Is Warranted And For How Long?
If disc pads or brake shoes installed as part of a maintenance disc/drum service become worn out or unserviceable within the lifetime of the original purchaser, they will be replaced at no charge, but you pay for the installation after 90 days or 4,000 miles, whichever comes first.


What is not covered?
This warranty does not cover the cost of additional brake system components
and/or labor required to restore the brake system to safe and proper operation. If such repairs are required but not authorized by you, Jensen Tire & Auto will furnish uninstalled replacement parts covered by this warranty and no further warranties will apply.
Comprehensive Brake Overhaul
Lifetime warranty on all parts and labor with replacement factory remanufactured calipers and/or new wheel cylinders.

What Is Warranted And For How Long?
The brake shoes, disc pads, calipers and/or wheel cylinders and all other hardware installed as part of the Jensen Tire & Auto comprehensive brake overhaul with replacement factory remanufactured calipers and/or new wheel cylinders are warranted for as long as you, the original purchaser, own the vehicle on which they were installed. If the above-mentioned components become worn out or unserviceable, Jensen Tire & Auto will replace them at no extra charge, including labor.

What is not covered?
The warranty does not cover the cost of additional brake system components and/or labor required to restore the brake system to safe and proper operation. If such repairs are required but not authorized by you, Jensen Tire & Auto will furnish you an uninstalled replacement for the worn out or unserviceable part(s) covered by this warranty. Thereafter, you will no longer be eligible for warranty coverage. NOTE: All customers must have requested the original repair be performed with parts that meet or exceed manufacturer’s specifications to be eligible for any warranty.
Constant Velocity Joints, Constant Velocity Boots, Universal Joints
What Is Warranted And For How Long?
If any constant velocity joint, constant velocity boot, or universal joint installed by a Jensen Tire & Auto location on private passenger cars or light trucks becomes unserviceable, the part will be replaced free of charge for as long as you, the original purchaser, own the vehicle on which the part was installed. Customer is responsible for labor after 90 days or 4,000 miles, whichever comes first.
Air Conditioning Parts (except Compressors)
What Is Warranted And For How Long?
If any air conditioning part (except compressors) installed by a Jensen Tire & Auto location on private passenger cars or light trucks becomes unserviceable, the part will be replaced free of charge, but you must pay for installation after 90 days or 4,000 miles, whichever comes first. The cost of refrigerant, dye, and recharging of air conditioning system is not included under this warranty.
Air Conditioning Compressors
What Is Warranted And For How Long?
If any air conditioning compressor installed by a Jensen Tire & Auto location on private passenger cars or light trucks becomes unserviceable, the part will be replaced free of charge for 2 Years or 24,000 miles, whichever comes first, but you must pay for installation after 90 days or 4,000 miles, whichever comes first. Applicable receiver/dryer must be replaced or warranty is void. The entire system must be properly flushed and when applicable, an inline AC filter must be installed or the warranty is void after 90 days or 4,000 miles, whichever comes first.
Steering and Suspension Parts
What Is Warranted And For How Long?
Many parts, depending on application, are lifetime warranty. If the part qualifies, the part will be replaced free of charge to the original purchaser but you will pay for the labor after 90 days or 4,000 miles, whichever comes first. All other parts revert to the General Warranty, see store for details.
Cooling Products
What Is Warranted And For How Long?
Select cooling products, including various radiators and water pumps, carry a lifetime warranty to the original purchaser, labor is covered for 90 days or 4,000 miles, whichever comes first. Products not included in the lifetime category revert to the General Warranty provision, see store for details.
Alignment/Engine Tune-Up/Standard Shocks and Struts
PARTS: 90 days or 4,000 miles, whichever comes first.
LABOR: 90 days or 4,000 miles, whichever comes first.
Belts and Hoses (Cooling System)
PARTS: Lifetime, to the original purchaser.
LABOR: 90 days or 4,000 miles, whichever comes first.
Exhaust Components (Excluding Muffler)
PARTS: 12 months or 12,000 miles, whichever comes first.
LABOR: 90 days or 4,000 miles, whichever comes first.
Standard Muffler
PARTS: 90 days or 4,000 miles, whichever comes first.
LABOR: 90 days or 4,000 miles, whichever comes first.
Lifetime Heavy Duty Muffler andPremium Shocks and Struts
PARTS: Lifetime to the original purchaser.
LABOR: 90 days or 4,000 miles, whichever comes first.

General Provision Applicable to All Warranties
Who is covered by the warranties listed in this document?
The warranty covers only the original purchaser and the motor vehicle identified on the original repair invoice.

How can a claim be made under the warranties?
The original invoice must be presented in order to get the benefit of the warranty.

Where will the warranties be honored?
Warranties will be extended at all Jensen Tire & Auto locations. We suggest that you return to the store which performed the original repair, if possible, in order to facilitate the timeliest correction.

What other conditions apply?
The obligations undertaken in these warranties are offered only on the above items and conditions, and may
not be enlarged or altered by anyone.

This warranty document does not apply to products or vehicles used for commercial, racing, or off-the-road
purposes, or to damage caused by abuse or accident. Jensen tire & auto is not responsible for any items left
in vehicles or any damages which may be alleged unless it is proven a Jensen employee, working within
his/her scope of duties, was at fault.

To the extent permitted by law, Jensen Tire & Auto locations disclaim liability for incidental and consequential damages, including loss of time, road service charges, inconveniences, loss of use of vehicle, loss of revenues,
and/or damage to personal property.
